2020 Reading Challenges @ RAPT

With a new year comes new challenges!

In past years I’ve attempted challenges to start off strong and failing to meet the goals I’ve set for myself. Although I may fail the challenges, I am still going to set a goal to participate in a 2020 reading challenge. These challenges are separate from my Goodreads Reading Challenge – which you can find over on my right ==>> sidebar. My Goodreads challenge is built on reviews that I plan to complete.

2020 Discussion Challenge

I’ve attempted the Discussion Challenge a few times, hosted by Feed Your Fiction Addiction and It Starts at Midnight and simply failed to make it all the way through a whole year. Of course, I’ve decided to do it again for 2020 with my goal to one (1) discussion post per month. I’ve challenged myself to use a set of prompts to help me complete my goal.

This year my goal is to accomplish level: 11 to 20 discussions: Creative Conversationalist. More specific, my goal is 12 discussions – one per month in addition to my interviews, reviews, and other posts.

You can find out all of the details here at the main link page on Feed Your Fiction Addiction.

Agatha Christie Reading Challenge – Personal

This challenge is purely personal as I would like to continue reading the works by Agatha Christie. I started this in 2018 and did not get very far as I took on more books that needed to be completed in tours and so my challenge get dropped. I am reading within set characters and currently reading books featuring Hercule Poirot. The Poirot collection features 43 books and novellas and I will be reading them in the order suggested via the Agatha Christie website.

  1. The Mysterious Affair at Styles (1920) – DONE, Read: 6/20/2018
  2. Murder on the Links (1923) – Currently reading
  3. TBD
