Writing at Past 40-ish // MasterClass Writing with James Patterson

I’ve been throwing around some thoughts in my head about a book series featuring my kids the spirit of my kids as the main characters. The quick and painless of it, I love mystery, I love haunted stories, and I love my kids, so I’m throwing them all into the writing pot and *fingers crossed* will pull an awesome story out of my typed pages.

In order to do this, I needed some guidance. Not a huge amount of hand-holding, but just enough to make sure that what I’m putting on paper – and how I’m putting it together – all mushed and mixed, well, right-ish!

It’s been a few weeks since I started seeing the MasterClass course for writing with James Patterson. The ad continued to pop up on Facebook and then a trusted voice I follow, The Middle Finger Project is working through the course. So, I took the plunge, forked over my credit card number, and now here I am… in week 1 of the course.

I’m entering into this course more for my own sanity support and not so much – HOW DO I DO THIS?

I will be posting here regularly on the process and my progression; my accountability.

Now on to my next lesson!
